Orlando Simoneli creates his first espresso coffee machine in Cessapalombo. He names it ‘1936’ after the year of its construction. For the time, it is already an innovative and technically advanced device. It is a 2-group column with electrical heating and mains supply water pressure system.

This is ISX: the first coffee machine with the new Nuova Simonelli Logo, still present today on our coffee machine in order to keep the memory of the success of those years. 
Plus, with ISX Nuova Simonelli introduced electronics for the first time ever in a coffe machine and introduced a new elegant and modern design. It was a real revolution!
